We issue this notice in order to respond to unofficial information about the Company’s recruitment process and to provide applicants with accurate information about the independent, impartial nature of the selection process.

Energy Resources LLC does not under any circumstances work with intermediaries or individuals in recruiting staff, and the selection process is conducted solely through the Company’s Human Resources Department. We also hereby give notice that no citizen or individual other than the Company’s Human Resources Department can grant the opportunity to be newly employed by the Company or to enjoy any advantage in the selection process.

The Company advertises its vacancies to the public using media such as daily newspapers, the Company’s website /www.energyresources.mn/, its local representative office, the Biznetwork network site /www.biznetwork.mn/ and the labour exchange website /www.labornet.mn/, and also works with the labour and welfare service departments of the aimags.

Recruitment is conducted fairly and transparently in accordance with the “Procedure for selecting and recruiting employees”, based on the principle of giving every applicant an equal opportunity, and in the following stages.

The recruitment process consists of:

• assessment of the application and supporting documents
• a written test /depending on the position/
• a preliminary and a detailed interview
• references from previous employers

and similar stages. The selection is a step-by-step process, and the final selection decision is never made by one person alone.
