This marks the first ISO 46001:2019 certification in Mongolia. The achievement represents an important step forward in Mongolia’s efforts to promote the efficient and sustainable management of water resources and marks a new milestone in the adoption of international best practices for water efficiency management in the country.

The certificate was received on behalf of Energy Resources LLC by D. Sukhbaatar, Director of the Infrastructure Department, and B. Battulga, Water Resource Efficiency Manager.

Tailored specifically for the arid Gobi region, the Ukhaa Khudag water system incorporates international water-efficient technologies capable of recycling and reusing up to 95% of its operational water.
