Training held on “Intensive livestock farming, crop growing and methods of growing fruit, berries and fodder crops”

Energy Resources held training on “Intensive livestock farming, crop growing and methods of growing fruit, berries and fodder crops” in order to improve the livelihoods of local residents.

More than 60 residents from Tsogttsetsii, Khanbogd and Bayan-Ovoo soums of Umnugobi aimag attended the training, and the relevant subjects were taught by A. Oyuntuya, agronomist and manager of the agricultural extension centre of Umnugobi aimag, and Yo. Gantsetseg, specialist for intensive farming and core herds at the Department of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.

Residents said they had gained many ideas from the training that are useful and can be put into practice. The trainers concluded that the participants were actively involved and that satisfaction was high.
