This year it gave particular recognition to the success of Energy Resources, which raised Mongolia’s standing on the international capital market on the basis of an innovative business model, and honoured it as the Best domestic company of 2011. In the other categories of this selection, which named the best in seven categories in total, respected organisations in their fields such as the Newcom Group, Hunnu Coal and TV V were selected and received certificates.

Founded in 2007, the Business Council of Mongolia has more than 200 member organisations and is one of the country’s leading business representative bodies, operating with core functions such as promoting trade and investment in Mongolia, acting as a bridge between the public, the Government and its member organisations, and representing the voice of the private sector. Energy Resources joined the Council as a member organisation in 2010.
