At a time when qualified, specialist labour has become vital as the economy grows rapidly, the Embassy of Mongolia to the People’s Republic of China and the Human Resources Department of the MCS Group have taken the initiative to hold the Mongolian Career Day job fair for young Mongolians working and studying in China — in Beijing on 22 October, in Shanghai on 23 October and in Hohhot on 26 October 2011. Supporting this event for students and joining as co-organisers are the Union of Mongolian Students in China and the student associations in Beijing, Shanghai and Hohhot.

Preparing a qualified, capable workforce — the key to a country’s development — and attracting workers who have been trained or are in training is one of the important issues.

The aim of the fair is to meet face to face with Mongolians studying and working far from their homeland and families, to offer them possible vacancies, to give careers advice and to discuss openly other matters relating to human resources management.

Major enterprises including Energy Resources, Golomt Bank, XacBank and the Unitel Group will take part in the event.
