Alongside discussions and consultations on the issues facing livestock husbandry, herders were given health examinations at the regional treatment and diagnostic centre and taken on a tour to see the aimag’s new investment and development projects.

During the event a ceremony was held to present national, aimag and professional awards to leading herders, and on that occasion Energy Resources presented certificates of honour and commemorative carpets for six-year-old racehorses to 15 outstanding herders representing all 15 soums of the aimag. To mark Umnugobi aimag’s 84th anniversary and its award of the Red Banner Order of Labour Merit, the Company also congratulated and honoured the aimag and local authorities, all the herders and the delegates.
