Specifically, 400 elders aged over 70 from Tsogttsetsii, Khanbogd, Bayan-Ovoo and Khankhongor soums were received, listened to for their advice, engaged in discussion and presented with gifts. In addition, as the winter in the Gobi has been severe with heavy snow and dzud, hay and fodder assistance was provided as part of our social responsibility to herders in Khanbogd, Bayan-Ovoo, Khankhongor, Tsogttsetsii, Manlai and Nomgon soums of Umnugobi aimag. This year 8,000 bales of hay and 1,650 sacks of bran feed were distributed. The team at Energy Resources has a tradition of organising this assistance every winter and spring.
