Agreement signed to prepare a feasibility study for a heating plant in Dalanzadgad
As part of its social responsibility, Energy Resources has signed an agreement with the Governor’s Office of Umnugobi aimag and the contractor Deedtiv LLC to prepare the feasibility study for a new heating plant to be built in Dalanzadgad soum.
The Company will also work with them on the investment in the plant in phases.
Dalanzadgad’s existing heating plant is old, suffers frequent faults and breakdowns and can no longer cope with demand, while in recent years the number of residents and homes in Dalanzadgad has risen sharply as mining development has grown. The Governor’s Office of Umnugobi aimag highlighted the many benefits a new heating plant will bring once it is in operation: meeting growing demand, allowing residents to work and live in more comfortable conditions and reducing air pollution.
