During the reporting period the Company mined a total of 4 million tonnes of coal and exported 2.5 million tonnes of washed coal products, while sales revenue grew by around 20 per cent on the same period last year to $325.6 million, or around ₮870 billion at the current exchange rate. The Company’s total profit for the first half reached $129.9 million, or around ₮347 billion at the current exchange rate, an increase of around 20 per cent on the first half of last year. Profit attributable to shareholders rose by almost 60 per cent on the same period last year to $47.1 million.

We export only washed coal products. Because of this, our coking coal export prices have consistently been the highest in Mongolia. In the first half of 2019, washed coking coal was sold at an average of $147 per tonne.
