In recognition of our valuable contribution and cooperation in achieving that award, the aimag’s leaders presented a trophy, a letter of appreciation and a banner to the team at the Ukhaa Khudag mine.

Since it began operations in 2009, Energy Resources has contributed more than ₮1.4 trillion in tax revenue to the state and local budgets. In other words, it has paid the state an amount equal to more than 10 per cent of Mongolia’s entire annual budget revenue. Over the past ten years it has also invested around ₮260 billion in the social development and infrastructure of Tsogttsetsii soum and has spent ₮1–3 billion a year on long-term projects and programmes supporting local development.
