In this selection, which assesses the real contribution businesses make to the country, the national mining company Energy Resources was again ranked in the top five of the TOP 100 enterprises making the greatest contribution to Mongolia’s society and economy. Ranked in the TOP 5 on key indicators for 2020 such as sales, taxes paid and the number of employees covered by social insurance, the Company maintained its position as a leading private sector enterprise. It has been selected among the TOP 100 enterprises eight times since 2010 and has consistently been ranked in the top five.

Last year Energy Resources achieved total sales of $355 million, paid around ₮180 billion in taxes and fees to the state and employed 2,094 people. It also invested more than ₮10 billion in projects and programmes of a social responsibility nature.
