The wrestling featured 128 wrestlers, 32 junior wrestlers, 64 wrestlers representing Energy Resources employees and 8 wrestlers in the Inner Mongolia bout. In the main wrestling, National Falcon E. Batmagnai, an MCS Group wrestler from Jinst soum in Bayankhongor aimag, took first place, with National Falcon B. Sugarjargal from Kharkhorin soum in Uvurkhangai aimag as runner-up. In the employees’ wrestling, E. Munkhbaatar of the Infrastructure Department, a soum-level Elephant, took first place, with B. Batbold of the transport section as runner-up. In the Inner Mongolia bout, A. Ikhtenger of “Public Service” LLC, a soum-level Elephant, came first and the young mine wrestler G. Purevsuren was runner-up, while in the junior wrestling soum-level Elephant O. Sumyaabazar came first and aimag-level Hawk E. Lkhagvasuren was runner-up, to the delight of the crowd.

In the horse racing, a total of 170 fast horses in five age categories from 26 soums of 7 aimags competed. Among the older horses, the bay of trainer B. Togtokh from Tsogttsetsii soum, Umnugobi aimag, came first; among the five-year-olds, the brown of trainer B. Sodnomtseren from Nomgon soum, Umnugobi aimag; among the four-year-olds, the bay of trainer U. Ochirsum from Tsogttsetsii soum, Umnugobi aimag; among the three-year-olds, the blazed chestnut of trainer B. Bayarmagnai from Tsogttsetsii soum, Umnugobi aimag; and among the two-year-olds, the blazed brown colt of trainer E. Jamyansuren from Ulziit soum, Dundgobi aimag — bringing joy to their trainers and young riders.

In the national archery, 113 highly ranked archers with national and aimag titles and 54 junior archers took part. In the men’s adult category, Marksman and Master of Sport D. Chuluunbayar of Umnugobi aimag came first; in the women’s adult category, Markswoman and Master of Sport B. Byambaa of Umnugobi aimag; among the junior male archers, A. Altan-Erdene; and among the junior female archers, A. Nomin-Erdene.

In the anklebone shooting, 280 shooters from 35 teams holding national, aimag and soum titles competed in accuracy. In the team event, the team of Khankhongor soum, Umnugobi aimag, led by aimag Grand Marksman B. Ulziikhuu, came first, and in the bow event the Ulaanbaatar team led by B. Ganbat came first, to the delight of the crowd.

During the “Ukhaa Khudag 2023” festival there were also circus performances, a children’s singing competition, evening entertainment and live music, involving more than 100 performers.
