In 2023 the group employed around 7,200 people and, as at 31 October, had paid more than ₮450 billion in taxes and fees to the state and local budgets. This year we also completed a major expansion at Mongolia’s first coal washing plant: the “Raw coal crushing and handling system expansion project” (ROM3), a third crushing and handling line with a complete set of facilities, was successfully finished together with contractors from Germany and Mongolia. The new line has the capacity to receive, crush and handle 2,200 tonnes of raw coal an hour, or 10 million tonnes a year.
