Expanding the assistance we provide to local herders every year, we are giving hay, fodder, materials, labour and technical help worth around ₮300 million to the soums of the eastern part of Umnugobi aimag, and we have also launched a fundraising campaign among all our employees, collecting essentials such as food, fuel, animal covers and insulation to be delivered to herders.

Although the Company has provided hay and fodder to local herders every year as part of its social responsibility, because of the difficult winter it has additionally purchased and begun distributing more than ₮100 million of fodder and mineral licks for livestock. Using the mine’s own resources and capabilities, it is also working with soum sewing workshops to make animal covers and insulation for gers and enclosures from old tyres, vehicle covers and sheeting, and is helping with snow clearing and opening roads locally by providing loaders, equipment and labour. Under the charitable campaign announced among all employees, donations of money and used clothing and equipment have begun to be collected, and essentials such as food, fuel, animal covers and insulation will then be delivered to herders.
