Under this commitment we have planted more than 150,000 trees since 2021 and are maintaining and protecting them.

Building on our experience of successfully growing more than 300,000 trees in the conditions of Umnugobi aimag and the Gobi since operations began in 2009, our core plan is to dedicate 36.5 million trees to reducing deforestation and degradation, 3 million trees to reducing the sources of desertification and dust storms, and 500,000 trees to maintaining the ecological balance of settlements. As part of this work, our Company successfully began planting 170,000 trees this autumn in the reforestation area of Dadal soum in Khentii aimag.

Our team, which conducts responsible mining operations, takes an active part in the “One Billion Trees” national movement and continues to deliver on its goals of protecting the environment, reducing desertification and increasing green cover.
